I'm Jero, a Designer who builds.

15 years designing products at scale. Most of that time was spent at Booking.com, running hundreds of experiments, shipping features used by millions, and learning what it actually takes to move a number that matters. That discipline is what I now bring to SaaS products, where the stakes per decision are higher and the margin for drift is smaller.

I take complex products and make them simple to use. Whether that's shaping a vision from scratch or bringing clarity to something that's grown in too many directions at once, the work is the same: understand the problem properly, make the right calls early, and build something with the foundations to keep improving.

I work closely with developers and care about implementation. I have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which means I understand what I'm asking for and can close the gap between design and production myself when it matters. I've seen too many good designs lose something in handoff. I stay involved until the final product reflects the original vision.

Outside of work I paint and draw with my kids, play padel, and have been deep in AI lately, figuring out where it genuinely changes the work.
